What this is
Codicier is a fast-publish platform for academic research with structured AI assessment. Not a journal. Not a bare preprint server. A third category: reviewed preprints with transparent, dual-model AI analysis published alongside the paper.
What this is not
This is not peer review. We are explicit about that. Codicier publishes papers alongside structured analytical assessments, not with endorsements. The assessment tells you what two independent AI models found when they analyzed the paper. It does not tell you the paper is correct.
Publishing here does not constitute formal peer-reviewed publication. This is a reviewed preprint, compatible with subsequent journal submission.
How the assessment works
Every paper is analyzed independently by two AI models from different providers. The assessment checks four hard gates (methodology present, citations verifiable, research contribution identifiable, and AI-written content threshold) and scores six dimensions (methodology, consistency, citations, novelty, reproducibility, and clarity).
Where the two models disagree, that disagreement is flagged visibly. This turns model inconsistency from a weakness into an honest signal of uncertainty.
Privacy and transparency
Your first assessment is private. If a hard gate fails, you get one free revision to address it. Nobody sees that first attempt but you.
Once you publish (or from the second paid assessment onward), the full assessment history is public. Readers can see exactly what the models found, including any disagreements and the full text of both assessments.

Legal framing
Authors retain copyright. The platform receives a non-exclusive license to publish and distribute. CC-BY license recommended. Publishing here is compatible with subsequent journal submission. Check your target journal's preprint policy.
